We know you’re excited about returning to The Thimble Inn but we wanted you to be aware that things are going to be a bit different for a while. We’ve spent the last few days looking through all the guidelines and have a think how this will work for us, our team and you. We are pleased to confirm that we will be opening from the 4th July.

Our temporary opening times will be as follows:

Monday CLOSED
Tuesday CLOSED
Wednesday CLOSED

Thursday to Saturday 12–3pm & 6-10pm
Sunday 12–5pm

BOOKING A TABLE - In order to make it fair for all customers, we will be taking bookings only and this will include if you only want a drink as we will have limited space. You can book through our website on the booking section, via Facebook or call us on: 01300 348270. 

Due to the size of our tables inside  we will only be accepting bookings of up to 6 (from up to two households)  Outside we will accept bookings up to 8 from four households as long as two of those households are part of a support bubble
ENTRY to the premises will be through the main front door. To support the NHS track and trace system we will be taking details of the lead guest at the time of booking.
DOGS are welcome in the garden and the bar and must ALWAYS be kept on a lead. We ask that you do not allow dogs on the seats in the bar area.
CHILDREN must ALWAYS be supervised both inside the pub and in the garden and will not be allowed to move around between tables.
TOILETS will work on a strictly one in one out system.

PLEASE remember that we are all learning, bear with us at this strange time, we WILL be doing things here by the book as best we can in order for everyone to feel as safe and comfortable as possible so please try to support us in doing so. These rules are absolutely subject to change as soon as we are able to (and we hope it is soon)! They are a temporary fix but each rule has been put in place for a reason on the guidance we have been given.
